In partnership with the Aspen Art Museum, Intersect Aspen is pleased to continue our “Collectors at Home” series for the third year.

A unique collection of modernist anchors in conversation with contemporary practitioners, the Lewis Collection includes major examples of global abstraction in both painting and sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries.

With a particular interest in materiality and a focus on the work of pioneering women artists and artists of color, the Lewis Collection is centered around ideas of abstraction. It takes an expanded view of modern and contemporary art practice, reframing the canon of art history with new perspectives.
